FLASH FICTION
10 – 50 Word Stories
There are many interpretations of what flash fiction is but the definition I will use on this site is:
- Title: up to six words
- Text: 10 – 50 words
- Comprises a story with a beginning, middle and end (explicitly in the title, text and/or strongly implied)
On this page I will present some of my flash fiction and give a bit of an analysis of how each one can unfold out into a fuller story.

Middle: Mentalious has learned to actually control the mind of a target person and has targeted the president [Mentalious mouthed the words and the president spoke.]
End: Mentalious makes the president dictated something harmful to the general public [Implied from “Nobody laughed now.”]

I’m not working on any at the moment but I would love to do some shorter novellas on things like Richard Willow’s time in the watch and perhaps a Harbinger story. Also, if they take off, there is plenty of scope for sequels!
